Blue Sky Sailing Club Weather Station Terms

The Blue Sky Sailing Club weather station provides an alternative source in determining current weather conditions of the eastern end of Lake Nipissing.  Its information is for the recreational users of the area and is not intended as a data source on which important decisions are based.  You should always use information from a regulatory agency for those purposes.

The Blue Sky Sailing Club weather station is located adjacent to the North Bay waterfront near the Marina.  The readings presented the current conditions as recorded for the eastern end of Lake Nipissing.  The sensors themselves are a Davis Vu product.  The readings are updated every 2.5 seconds and are transmitted at 2 minute intervals to the website.
